I have always liked to make things even as a small child when I used to crochet dolls clothes and sell them to my little friends for 1p or 2p each!
I first started making Jewellery after attending a course using Fused Glass. I went along not knowing quite what to expect but thought it would be fun. We were shown how to cut and layer Dichroic Glass to make into pendants and the tutor took our work away to fire.
When we went to class next time there was quite a buzz of excitement as our achievements were revealed. I could not believe how beautiful these creations had turned out and the way the glass once fired had melted and fused into such a smooth and rounded shape and the colours that emitted as they were twisted and turned to catch the light. I was hooked!
As the course progressed we were shown how we could turn our creations into beautiful pieces of Jewellery by adding a variety of attachments (findings) to make Pendants, Earrings and all manner of things.
Although I was excited at what I had achieved, I was amazed when I showed them to friends and work colleagues that they wanted me to make things for them too. I soon realised there was quite a demand for these.
After attending further courses I bought my own kiln and started to sell via local shops and hotels and so Di-Namic Designs Jewellery was born!

I live in the beautiful Torbay area of Devon, also known as 'The English Riviera', with my husband and our little dog.
We are lucky enough to look out over the sea and the local beach, what more inspiration can someone who likes to create beautiful things need.
